Alexis is an energetic trainer, has a background in industrial engineering and international management, and has been working with different scrum teams for the past 5 years serving in roles including scrum product owner, scrum master and scrum team member. Alexis has consistently delivered value to clients by facilitating scrum of scrums meetings in collocated and global-virtual environments. She is passionate about large scale scrum projects. She believes that empirical process control and effective communication between stakeholders are highly important for scrum projects. The ability of scrum projects to manage change, risk, quality, and provide timely value to clients using iterative development is what Alexis first found most interesting about working on scrum projects. This interest and experience led her to reading the SBOK Guide?, earning formal scrum/agile certifications, and becoming a Scrum Certified Trainer. As a business owner Alexis works on scrum projects and conducts training and certification classes. Alexis conducts classes in traditional classroom and virtual-live delivery formats and is a big fan of the practical application and academic components of SCRUMstudy classes. Alexis is currently Managing Partner of Trench Project Management. She has a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Operations Engineering from the University Michigan and a Master Degree in International Management from Walden University.

Alex has conducted 50+ classes and trained more than 500 professionals across companies such as Amerigroup, Astrazeneca, Atlantic Power, Booz Allen, Cigna, Eaton, Ericsson, Fidelity, GE Lighting, Henkel, Northrop Grumman, NTT Data, Pfizer, and more.
